Bulletstorm: A great FPS that you need to try!

As the name suggests, There will be alotta bullets, blood, violence and a very wide selection of weaponry..
You might think the same as I thought while I’m looking at this game for the first time: This is not my type of game
And it really wasn’t my type of game, I’m more of a puzzle and strategy game kinda guy and the only reason i bought this game because it was used for a very reasonable price and i thought i should give it a shot before reselling :)
And wow, It lived up to its name! the game was truly a bullet storm, great selection of weaponry, with the new skillshot system with a combination of gunplay, kick, slide and leach mechanics that help you kill with skill to accumulate game point and buy more upgrades to your weapons and even buy more bullets if you ran out !

as you go further through the game, you discover new skill shots and get more game points that make the game very exciting, it really adds a lot to the first person shooter games!

I liked so much when you use the environment to kill with skill, like when you kick someone to a man-eating plant or when you use the leash through a steel gate so hard that they're smashed dead !
the other thing i loved is voices, the characters have a pretty good sense of humor.. even during the gameplay they always come up with the funniest comments when you do a skillshot !
the game was developed by People Can Fly with Epic Games so we know they used the famous Unreal engine 3
couple of years ago I played Painkiller which was a People can fly first game and I didn’t like that much, but I guess after Unreal Game acquired the majority share of the company in 2007, People Can Fly is getting pretty good at what they do :)
Bulletstorm is fast, it's very easy to control, it's exciting and never boring, you'll enjoy it to the last second!

I know you played Heavy Rain but, Have you played Fahrenheit ?!

Couple of days ago I played the famous Heavy rain and since the first moments i thought this game was so familiar.. after couple of minutes into the game i knew why, that game was very similar to a game i played a while ago called Fahrenheit !
And after couple of hours i was like WTF! That game was basically Fahrenheit with enhanced graphics, awesome use of dualshock 3 and some nudity xD

After couple of milliseconds using Google (Respect!) i knew what was wrong!
Both games were developed by the very same developer Quantic Dream (French developer)
Don't get me wrong, yes both games are very similar but they're both great games !
I mean i loved them! great sound tracks, GREAT story, great plot and great ending(s)
if you played only Heavy rain you should play Fahrenheit no doubt
if you haven't played both then you should start with heavy rain, though it have been released after Fahrenheit but it's a great game for the time being with the level of graphics that we're used to these days

if you played Fahrenheit and haven't played Heavy rain (doubt it!) then you should get up now, march to that video game store and buy the god damn game xD

Homefront

Since call of duty first released on Oct 2003 it have been the first choice for all gamers if they wanted to play a first person shooter in a war environment that it was real hard to find a better game that have the same type .
well, here's a not-bad competition, Homefront !
It had a pretty good start, makes you very excited to start the game
and the game itself is pretty good except one thing, the game actually takes place in 2025.. and I thought there would be a more advanced weapons.. it actually felt like a world war II game ! that sucked !
graphics are not bad, Unreal engine 3.0 is quite good..
I have to admit the game had some good cinematic moments trying to move the player
is it worth paying money for it.. hmm
well, I’d recommend buying a used one and then sell it back, it's totally not a collectable you won't be playing it again but you're gonna enjoy playing it .
I didn't really try the multiplayer so if you did.. please comment!

Sony: We're back with FW 3.61

As a part of the We-are-back! thing sony is doing , they just release a 3.61 software update..
and yea, if you want PSN again you'll need to update your system !

-Any significant changes in the ps3 system ? -No!
-Any new functionalities in the ps3 system ? -Nope!
And, you have to change your PSN account password once you update your system
-Do i recommend updating ? -HELL NO!

But here's a link for those who likes PSN so much that they can't live without it : FW 3.61

Sony:

We have been working on a new PS3 system software update that requires all PSN users to change their password once PlayStation Network is restored. The update (v3.61) is mandatory and is available now.

If using a PS3, your password can only be changed on your own PS3 (or a PS3 on which your PSN account was activated), as an added layer of security. If you have never downloaded any content using your account on the system, an email will be sent to the registered sign-in ID (email address) associated with your account when you first attempt to sign-in to PSN. This e-mail will contain a link that will enable you to change your password. In this email, click on the link and follow the instructions to change your password. Once you have changed your password you can sign-in to your account using your new password.

We strongly recommend that all PSN account holders with PS3s update their systems to prepare for when PlayStation Network is back online. The release of this update is a critical step as we work to make PlayStation Network significantly more secure. Thank you for your continued support and patience.
